When stringing single threads with beads isn’t properly showcasing your artistic vision, it’s time to dive into the world of bead weaving with this Metal Bead Loom Kit. This is a great starter beading kit because it comes with handy and easy-to-follow illustrated instructions that teach you how to use the included beads, thread, and needles as well as the loom itself. There are even some sample patterns to help your mind start working more creatively. Before you know it, you’ll be weaving beautiful beaded bracelets, necklaces, headbands, belts, and more! Also enclosed are blank grids, which are a great starting place for your very own patterns and creations. While the included supplies are wonderful as you start down this road of jewelry making, you’ll want to add more bead and thread colors to design even more jewelry and other treasured pieces. You might want to play with different types of beads and mix and match tiny seed beads with larger statement pieces. You’ll even notice that as you develop the skill, you can make projects that are longer than the loom. It only requires adjusting and winding the finished end around one of the wooden handles; this gives you more versatility with your finished products. Take your newly honed skills and go from a simple, geometric pattern to complex works of art. You can even craft custom inspirational message bracelets for your friends and family as a gift for Christmas, a birthday, or any special occasion. Help your friends, family, and loved ones develop their creative and artistic talents with this complete kit. It makes it easy to create beautiful pieces of jewelry on this metal beading loom.

    Good starter loom
When I was warping/casting on the nylon string it took some time bc it was my very first time but I’d say it was fairly easy. The spacing is a little bit big for the seed beads I have in my collection. In this pic are miyuki beads size 11/0 and I just made sure while doing the return pass to tighten my thread but yea would totally recommend to anyone looking to buy a quality loom that matches the price. Bc I bought the $20 version and it’s wider than the other so you can create wider stuff. This is the loom stitch but you can experiment with brick and peyote if you wanted to. Good luck out there beaders!

    Great first loom!
I have done a good amount of research on beading looms, and find that this is a great first loom. If you tighten the rods too much, it will begin to twist the frame out of balance, so just be mindful of that. I am choosing to rate the actual loom with my review stars, since that is the main component. I have had no problems using this loom, though, the other supplies it comes with are low quality and frustrating to work with… I worry for some newbies, these inferior supplies could deter people from using this loom ever again. **I recommend either getting rid of these extra supplies, or upgrading and increasing the price by a few bucks!** For anyone new to bead looming, do yourself a favor and grab some nymo size D thread, a longer beading needle, and a couple of tubes of your favorite colored seed beads from Michaels. Those few changes are a BIG step up from the supplies in this kit. I learned this by watching youtube vids, and thank goodness I did! All in all, this is a simple, easy to use loom! Happy beading!!

    Pros and cons, happy overall.
As a novice beader, I thought it would be fun to grab one of these and try out a few projects. It comes with beading needles (very small, with tiny eyes), thread (actually pretty decent quality), and an assortment of beads. I wouldn’t really recommend using the beads that come with it, unless you have some supplemental ones to go with it and don’t mind the mismatch. I’ve made a couple of bracelets on here already, and here is what I think:Be prepared to bend this sucker outwards. As it is, you really don’t have much room from one end of the loom to the other. My first project was about 5 inches long before I ran out of space. (This included being so close to the end that it actually pulled the project apart somewhat.) If you’re like me and have a bigger wrist, that just won’t cut it. I bent the metal outwards as evenly as I could on both sides and was able to expand my projects by about 3 inches. I could probably get a bit more out of it, but I’ll hold off for now. It does make the loom sit much higher, but I found it helped bring the work closer to my face, which allowed me to sit straighter and not strain my back as much. It’s wobbly, and it moves. Even prior to bending it myself, the loom did not sit flat on the table. One corner always sits just a bit higher than the other 3. It’s not a horrible issue to deal with, but it’s there. Also, unless you have a slip-proof surface to use this one, it will move around. I work on wooden tables with no kind of mat or cloth underneath, so at first I was fighting the loom as it cruised around my workspace. You can get used to it after a while, but you might want a slip-proof mat to place under it.The wooden dowels hold really well. I was afraid that bending the frame would knock them loose or make them spin, but it didn’t. As long as you secure them like they’re meant to be, you shouldn’t have any issues. It does what it was intended to do. There’s no fancy way to thread your warps. You’ll have a boatload of threads to deal with after you cut your piece loose. There is virtually no information on how to use the loom. (I recommend YouTube videos.) It’s a basic, entry-level loom for anyone who wants to try it out before going all in with a fancy one.

    Very nice
This looks very nice. Just getting started with this craft

  6. BAD SERVICE HERE

    It’s a loom
Bead sizes are inconsistant, needles are too big to use, my loom where the springs go across on one side is bent. None of this makes much difference to me since I’ve been hand beading for years. I have my own needles and beads, but if you’re expecting to get this kit and make something…FORGET ABOUT IT. You’ll need to get some of your own beads and needles. Oh, and the thread is weak, and worthless. So you’ll need to buy quality supplies. Nothing that is included with this loom is worth squat, as others have said. Other than that, it’s fine for what it is.

Good starting kit for the value
Very good kit to use as you learn. Been able to do a few pieces on it and they have looked great. Small, lightweight and easy to pack in my craft cabinet.

    A Sturdy Loom for Beginners
This bead loom is wonderful for the price. I’m a beginner and didn’t want to get anything too fancy before seeing if I even like doing this type of stuff. I don’t see myself getting another loom for a very long time because it’s pretty solid. I do have a few tips though:1) Buy different needles. The two needles that come with it are a bit too thick to actually use. I bought some collapsable eye needles that worked wonderfully.2) Get different thread. The thread is great for practice, but is a bit messy and knots easily, despite being careful. I bought NYMO Nylon Beading Thread (Size D) as a backup.3) The beads that come with it are also great for practice, but I’d look into Miyuki Delica Seed Beads. I have yet to buy any, but I definitely will after I go through the beads in the kit and my own cheap hobby store beads.4) If you’re bothered by the limited length of this loom, you can carefully bend both ends slightly to open it a bit more. I did and it gave me plenty of more space to work with without damaging or warping the loom. It’s quite forgiving.

Las agujas y las piedritas no son las adecuadas para estos tejidos. No funcionan. Lo único que funciona del paquete es el telar

  10. Betânia

O material deveria ser mais pesado, para que não ficasse saindo do lugar .

  13. Harutyunyan

Le reste dans le kit ce n’est pas super, mais le métier a tisser est bien.
