    Great Assortment & Different Sizes
First I’d like to address one other review because I hesitated to buy this based on that one. Most beads are useful, if there’s a small bead inside of another bead, you can literally poke them right out. I was actually worried most wouldn’t be usable, I’ve found 3 with little beads inside of them and they poked right out.Not sure why people gave this bulk bead buy poor ratings. They’re great, they’re beads, they’re assorted in color and sizes as well as shapes. Just to be sure I bought a second set, again, they’re fantastic. Each set has a few other beads the other doesn’t. The first I got a few paddle beads, a lot were broken but that was negligible in the grand scheme of things. The second I received some nicely sized coin beads. Both sets are well worth it. No clue where someone would buy a better buy. I calculated the approximate cost per bead (I bought the beads for about $13 each set) and the cost per bead is about $.003 per bead. Anyone knocking the rating based on a few beads not being “usable” must not have or know how to gather this information. Now if the company wants to send me more beads for another positive review, I will gladly accept because there is no doubt in my mind that this is the best bulk buy of plastic beads.

    Quality
Product was as expected, nice variety and good price as well as colors

    great big bag of beads
Perfect for my group bead classes at a campground resort. The kids can use as many as they want and keeps them from using the “adult” beads I offer ( glass and crystal ) . There is a HUGE assortment of beads. I’m trying hard to resist sorting them all because it would take days. Lol Most of the beads are plastic so it might not be the best if you are making jewelry to sell. Would be perfect for making Kandi bracelets or kids crafts.

    Holy beads!
I am an experienced kandi maker and I decided to buy one of these for me and one of these for my boyfriend. I love all the varied beads and colors, it’s really nice. There definitely were broken beads but that’s to be expected. I will definitely be using them in bracelets and I love using them to spruce up my bracelets. I do wish it had more regular pony beads in the mix and not mostly fun-shaped beads but that’s okay. Overall worth it for the money and a fun way to make your jewelry look more varied.

    Beads galore!
This was a gift for my 14 year old! She is into making jewelry, keychains, all kinds of creations. I’m at work, otherwise I could show her creations and what she is capable of doing. She definitely has a creative side to her. Yesterday, she showed me a necklace that had the main piece, being a bone. Kind of creepy, but also kind of cool. Thanks for the quick delivery and just wanted to let you know that she was very happy with our order! Thank you!

    Higher Price, Lower Quality
I have ordered this variety of beads 9 times, so I think they are a good value. The first box I received in March 2021 had a much broader variety of beads than subsequent boxes. The boxes have included more pony beads with each subsequent box. I use these for children so not a real problem. This most recent box had a large number of broken beads, which has never happened before. The broken ones were primarily spoked beads so easily broken. Very few of these were intact. As I have continued to work through the box, I have had to discard handfuls of broken beads. The variety and quality had diminished over time yet the price has increased significantly. This is the last box I plan to order.

5lbs is a lot of beads yall
When I ordered this, I didn’t comprehend the volume of beads that would be delivered to my door. I am both horrified and delighted.I have a 10 year old daughter who needs extra help following instructions and making good choices and well… I want to say these are for her, but deep down in my little goblin heart I know that I got these for the little goblin girl inside of me.So, when I opened the amazon box and saw a smaller box inside I was intrigued. When I lifted the small box I was more like “oof this is heavier than I expected.” It was full. Very full. To the top. It arrived in a very nice and satisfactorily puncture resistant bag that was very well sealed. I pulled it out of the bag upside down in fact, which was fine because it was packaged very securely. And that’s when my daughter saw what it was. She also has an inner goblin and it is full of glee.I cut open the bag and poured them into a large bowl of unspecified volume capacity. The chapstick was not included and was used to show scale. It’s so much. I am having a hard time processing the magnitude of beadage I have acquired. The assortment is varied and I can’t even begin to start identifying individual shapes. I am overwhelmed. It all looks so good and I want to touch all of it at once and feel them and it’s so much.Yall. I almost bought 2. I didn’t think 1 was going to be enough, so I debated buying a second one. I almost drowned myself in plastic shiny delightfulness and I’m not sure if I should be sad or relieved–whether it was a mistake or a narrow escape. My partner will be home in 3 and a half hours and he has no idea. I like to imagine him opening the front door and there just being a hiss and rush of plastic shininess flowing out of the house like water as he, in a panic, wades through the ever deepening madness, desperate to get to the car before he is overwhelmed. There is no escape. The tires spin and tiny plastic gemlike rainbow pellets scatter everywhere, but the car does not move. The outpour continues. There are no survivors.10/10, I like the idea of buying again, but it’s finna be a hot minute before I need more. Excellent value for money. Would be PERFECT for an art teacher or for sensory play. Does not fit in a gallon ziplock bag. Does not fit in a gallon ice cream pail. Might fit in 2 gallon ziplock bags, or in 2 gallon ice cream pails, or a 2 gallon bucket. It is a lot of beads yall. I cannot stress this enough.

Bought this and super regret it! Before I was even halfway through the bag I found all this broken beads and as well as mishapen round beads that had half of it missing! I even found just a random length of blue plastic inside! It looked like it was part of a plastic frame!

This is my second time buying this “mystery box” of beads. And I love it!!!At first glance when removing the big plastic bag of beads out of the box, it looks like it’s mostly pony beads. But hang on …. It’s not all pony beads. I spent hours sorting the box I received months ago and the one I received the week …and oh my goodness! I discovered both boxes I ordered had so much variety! To compare … when I ordered in spring of 2021 it was a lot of pony beads (probably 75%) and tri-beads (5%). The remaining 20% of beads was so so worth the price of this box! I ended up with tons of variety! Large unique shaped glass beads, multi faceted beads, animals, jumbo beads, letter beads, average sized beads, and teeny tiny beads too.My recent box (summer 2021) had surprisingly less pony beads. Unlike the last box that had 75%, this box had maybe only 50% pony beads. And no tri-beads this time (thank goodness because those are my least favourite). But the coolest thing about the recent box was it came with about a dozen big pumpkin beads! Perfect timing with Halloween 3 months away. Now for the “mystery box” part… my 6 year old daughter and I dumped the beads out of the plastic bag and into the box they came in and began sorting. She picked out all the huge beads! It was truly like opening a treasure chest. So much variety and very different than the box I ordered a few months ago!Now listen… if you make jewelry and/or you love beads, you need to buy this box of beads! When you get it, sort it. Trust me it’s so worth it to sort. Time consuming yes, but worth it. After sorting all the beads I began making necklaces with the amazing beads.Pony beads aside, the value of the other beads, in my opinion, was well over $100. And I’m saying this as someone who knows bead prices. If you had to buy all the beads included in this box you’d spend well over $100, and that’s how I felt for both boxes. Not to mention good luck finding such a big variety in one store. How to sort:Start by pulling out all the huge stones and unique large beads. Then remove all pony beads and put them in a ziplock. (If you really don’t need the pony beads, donate them to a school or gift them to kids who will love making bracelets for their friends with them.). So after removing the pony beads (and tri-beads too if there is any) you’ll be left with the rest which is what will amaze you. I bought 5 plastic divided containers at the dollar store to put all the beads in. Each container had 36 compartments. (See photos I posted with the sorted beads and some necklaces I made so far.)For string, I purchased both 0.8mm and 1mm stretchy string (in white and in back) off Amazon and it worked perfectly for all the necklaces I made. I also purchased a 1.2mm rainbow stretchy string off Amazon which my daughter loves to use to make pony bead necklaces.I have already made about 20 bracelets (with 22-25 beads on each), plus a dozen long necklaces (100-120 beads on each), 8 medium necklaces (60-80 beads on each) and I’m still left with a tonne of beads!!!!! So I’ve used well over 2000 beads and I’m still left with thousands more.If you’ve read my review this far, thank you. Now go buy those beads! I will be buying another box in a few months!! Can’t wait!!
