Overall, pretty good.
It did its job. I bought these because I wanted to make some jewelry and wanted a wide range of colors. I think the size is pretty nice and there is some variation in the size of the crystals which is exactly what I wanted.There are about two crystals that have a cloudy film over the top of them, sort of like the iridescent stuff got messed up. There are also a handful of other crystals that have their holes drilled no where close to the middle of it. I am sort of afraid to use them just because I don’t know how easily they could break off.Regardless, the majority of the crystals are good and I think they look very beautiful.

Rainbow of colors
The strand I received contained a good amount of all colors. All were vibrant and slightly iridescent, though a few are too short for the project I plan. These are better as accent beads than as a single pendant as they are quite short (most under 1 inch). I’m not sure if they are real stones but they don’t have the “too smooth” finish and appear very realistic. They aren’t top quality but they’re good enough for my purposes. Mine are definitely not plastic.

Theyâre fine
Theyâre good enough for my craft projects but they really look like clear crystals that have kindda been smeared or stained with colored paint. They arenât ACTUAL colored crystals that are âa pure material.â They moreso have been half-heartedly colored as if they are. They look a little cheap and the line of the holes for them to be strong as beads is VERY visible if you donât hide it, so it makes them a little hard to use for my scenes where I want the crystals to look âreal and naturalâ in a fantasy setting.

I bought two of these raw quartz crystal spike strands for a rather unusual purpose – to create a hat band. I got the idea from another person on Amazon, who had purchased a strand of these stones in turquoise, then tied them around the neck of a large raku vase. It looked so nice, I thought I’d try it on my hat — and if I didn’t like it, I could always liven up a vase, or give the crystals to my daughter (who makes jewelry). As you can see from the hat, I think it won’t look good unless I remove the existing ribbon.All that said, I love these stones and think they’re gorgeous. I like the natural stones without the AB or other finishes. These are small, and I think they’ll be amazing for those who make jewelry. I’m going to continue to experiment with home DIY projects. I thought these might look good draped on the shade of a glass lamp, or adding to a beaded shade.Bottom line: I like these, I can think of a thousand uses for them. The crystals are small, but very bright and clear. I highly recommend them. I hope I’ve been helpful!
