Miyuki is worth every penny
After years of having to pick through containers of other bead brands to find beads that are all the same size and exact color, I just don’t have the patience for that anymore. Each piece of jewelry took many more hours before I discovered the beauty of Miyuki beads. You should choose either Miyuki round (rocailles) or Miyuki Delicas, and stick to that type, and your projects will be so much faster and easier. The bead size and color is very consistent. This container with tictac-type boxes is really cute, too. My only complaint about this transaction is that the lids weren’t snapped down on 3 of the tictac boxes, so I have a mess of 3 mixed colors in the big container. Because there is only a small amount of each color included (this is like a sampler pack), I have to pick through these mixed colors in order to have enough of each color for my project. So right off the bat, I’ve lost some of the time I would normally save when using Miyuki beads. It’s always something, isn’t it?Edited to add: I realized the pretty medium blue colored beads shown in this ad is not what was included in my package. The little box of blue beads that I got was actually VERY dark blue, called indigo. There were no medium-blue beads at all 🙁
