Perfect Gift.
Twenty years ago my mother bought me my first loom. I absolutely loved it and still enjoy beading to this day. I recently bought this as a gift for my 11 year old niece and she loved it as well. It took me 10 minutes to teach her how to set it up and begin to bead. The instructions were helpful.

I learned to bead on a loom just like this at 5 years old in 1961. Today I use this same loom to teach my students how to bead on a loom. This loom works for beginners, intermediate, and advanced bead artists. I still use mine for small loom projects.

This is a great beginner loom, in my opinion. It’s a bit crooked, a little cheap, but honestly the idea is so simple, it makes sense. Unfortunately I didn’t realize its for bigger beads- maybe pony beads. I’m working with seed beads. The wired curvy bit is much too wide for small beads, and cannot be adjusted. But it works after the first few rows. Only have 3 stars because the side screws are hard to make work without a screwdriver at hand. But will work fine for what I want to do at my beginner level 🙂

Very unstable
An experienced beader could make this work for them, but it is very flimsy. The whole thing was bent when we opened it. The end pins don’t stay tight in place. The coils are so far apart it makes the project very difficult. My dad used a 2×4 and a bunch of nails to make a far superior loom to this one.
