Miyuki 8/0 seed beads, also called round rocailles, are small seed beads. They are slightly bigger than the 11/0’s, only 3mm in outer diameter with a 1mm hole diameter. Size 8/0 seed beads can be used for stitches like flat spiral, right angle weave or Kumihimo weaving. There are 39 beads per gram so a 22 gram tube holds approximately 850 beads.

Really disappointed and have to question if what I received was …
I buy beads for knitting so the hole size is just as important to me as the color and Miyuki beads are usually really consistent, 8/0 rocaille should have a hole size of 1.1 mm. I could not get even a .5mm crochet hook through these so for my purposes they were worthless. Really disappointed and have to question if what I received was actually 8/0 like the tube indicates – even an 11/0 should be able to accept a .5mm hook.
