Customers say
Customers like the sturdiness, value for money, and metal construction of the art craft kit. They mention it’s well-made, able to hold up to younger hands, and a good quality metal loom for the price. Some are also happy with the metal hook and say it’ll be fun for kids. However, some customers are disappointed with the slip-off feature and have different opinions on the ease of use.

Great quality metal loom and hook
I was very happy to see that this metal loom was available on Amazon. I had purchased and returned a plastic one from a big crafts chain store because it seemed cheap and the hook was a short plastic crochet hook. This one has a long metal hook, long enough to slide under all of the loops when weaving. The loom is very sturdy and feels good to hold.I used loops from Friendly Loom Lotta Loops and I highly recommend them – great colors, all cotton, and NONE of them were too short. Some people have complained that loops slide off of the loom. I didn’t experience this – the prongs on the loom actually flare slightly out. Of course, the last side always pops off when finishing the edges (as they have since I first started making these in the 1950’s), so I tried sliding the loops onto a chopstick to hold them in place (see photo – could have used a knitting needle or something similar). Worked like a charm!

These are perfect!
I had these as a kid and when I bought my kids some they were plastic and broke all the time. I ordered these for my students and they are just like when we were younger. Metal and unbreakable!

Complete loom set
I was glad to find this sturdy loom set with a metal weaving hook for my granddaughter. Some sets only come with a crochet hook to finish the edge but nothing for the actual weaving.

Does What It’s Made For
I bought 2 for a school. They are metal and well-made, but I think $10 is too high a price. I looked and looked and couldn’t find them any cheaper. They do not come with the loops, just the loom and a “bent coat hanger” which they call a tool. Would have had 5 stars except for the price and no loops.

Perfect
This little red loom is simply perfect for beginner potholder making. Reminiscent of the ones you had as a child. Sturdy well-made. I ordered two you cannot go wrong. The best price for the quality

Well-made
This works just as it should. The hook is also metal (plastic could easily snap).
