This value pack of beads is a great value and they seem to be decent quality for the price. That said, they are not nearly as shiny as Swarovski if you’re specifically looking for that (like I was). I do still plan to keep these for future projects.

After searching for a while I decided on this 4mm Blue AB Series. The description says 1,000 beads in 5 colors. Silly me assumed that meant 200 of each color. Also that the 5 colors would be distinctly different.When I received the beads they were all mixed together in one bag. My Crafting OCD kicked in (undiagnosed) and I just HAD to sort and count them. This is what I found.1. The two dark blue beads are almost the same color. I had to shine bright white light directly on them to be able to tell them apart. One is slightly more opaque. See attached picture of two beads side by side. The one on the left is the darker. Can you tell?2. They are not all cleanly cut/made. As you can see in the picture of three beads in a row. The right bead is fine. The center bead is cut on one side and the other is a round blob. The left bead is completely round, they didnât even try on that one. Just be aware, some youâll have to sort out for the junk bead collection.3. The amount of beads you get per color are random. Hereâs my count (it does include deformed beads):Dark Blue = 182Slightly Less Dark Blue = 224Light Blue = 222 (see picture for my sorting/counting method)Turquoise = 183Clear = 205For a grand total of 1,016 beads.Basically you get what you pay for. They are cheap glass beads. But they arenât that bad. The AB coating is even and they look good in the light. Iâll definitely use these and probably buy a few other colors. So if you want utility level beads at a good price Iâd recommend these babies. We all need some random shinies in our crafting right?
