Great way to store and be able to see all your colors
This storage tube set is easy to use, easy to store your beads and gives you easy access to all your colors. One thing I will mention is for sure get the Beadsmith brand storage tubes. Any other tubes just don’t work as well, hold as many beads or stay closed during transport. It comes with a little bag to put your storage case in just in case anything gets away from you it stays inside the bag. I haven’t had any issues with the straps that hold the containers becoming loose or ripping which can happen with elastic over time. Just bought the bigger storage case too because I liked this one so much.

Mobile Seed Bead Storage and Display!!
This is a great product! It allows you to see all of your seed beads at the same time and is easy to fold up and take where you need to without worrying about losing anything. I know others have said it isn’t sturdy and the plastic bag is not well made but it costs $17.00. Seriously, people, the plastic bag is not going to last forever but then neither is the tower. If it lasts 6 months or a year, just buy another one. It works really well to display everything in one place and keeps all of your beads together for easy access. Until someone comes up with a better tool to keep your seed beads safe and visible, I will buy as many of these as I need to. I highly recommend this product to all beaders.

Good concept
I have the usual problems getting my seed beads organized. I have to say that this concept is the best so far for being able to access and see my collection. That said, the item itself could have better workmanship. Although I have no rips or tears, it is easy to guess that at some point in the future, a rip or tear in one or two of my loops holding my tubes is probably inevitable. There are several which are not tied down properly. Also, as another reviewer reported, the case is a half inch too small at the top which leads to a struggle containing a fully packed storage unit into its clear plastic container. However, with perseverance, it will go in. I am not sure how much I would actually use the case for my purposes…probably only occasionally for a bead retreat so this may not be much of a problem. As I said, it will fit if you take a couple of minutes to wrangle it in and are careful in the zipper area. The unit stays folded up on its own without the case. Another worry is that the cardboard inside may become weakened over time by the weight of the beads and bend the unit out of shape. However, no sign of this yet…just a worry.A wonderful feature is the velcro flap which when fastened enables your tower to stand up on your workbench or table. And it does stand up…very sturdy! This is pretty darned wonderful!The tower is not too big overall…just about right. It is about the same width as a piece of typing paper and only two inches longer than a piece of legal paper. Nicely compact and easy to move around! I can now see all of my seed beads, nicely organized into a compact place! Each unit holds a good amount of tubes, especially the small ones!Overall, I am quite pleased. Two are not enough. I need to order at least 2 more. One for my hex, triangles and 15/0. Another one for my bead mixes and 8/0s. I may have too many seed beads!

It holds a Ton of Beads
Years of bead accumulation left me trying different options to be able to see and store the beads. The beads are held by pre-sized elastic loops. My beads are not in uniform tubes. Some are long, short, square, fat etc. I bought new small tubes as well. Getting the tubes into the elastic was a chore with broken nails along the way. The square tubes did not fit, the long tubes took two spaces. Every space is filled with the misfits stored nearby. Thankfully it all went back into the storage bag. I’m glad to have it and will continue to use it. So, the value of using it is greater to me than the difficulty of putting the beads away. Yes, I would buy it again.

low grade quality, but a wonderful organizer
Most of my projects consists of using seed beads, so I have plenty of tubes in a carry box. Since my box was getting full, it’s really difficult to find the color I am looking for. This was my reasoning for purchasing this product. The following are my Pros and Cons of the product.Pros:* It makes a wonderful organizer so it’s easy to pick out the colors you need.* Most tubes fits snugly.* It can be folded into a tower for display, and can be folded up for easy storage.* comes with a carrying bagCons:* The material that is made for this product felt really flimsy. I’ve placed all my tubes on the tower, and it felt like it will fall when I folded into a tower. Additionally, the black cloth that was used to cover the board sections felt like shower curtain liner. It just felt like a pull or tug might break the stitches and destroy the product.* Although I can fold the product into a tower, there is no way to fold up the product without the tube side facing inward, or to state otherwise, folding it as if you were folding a trifold brochure with the gates closing inward.* Beware of the way you pull out your tubes! I’ve once pulled out my tube the other end, and with pressure used to pull out the tube from the snugly tight tube, it flung the cap open, resulting in seed beads flying all over the place!* It may / may not fit bigger tubes. I shop for beads all over the internet, as well as my local bead store. All their tubes consist of different sizes, and thickness.* The bag that came along with the product was made of cheap plastic; like one of those beach bags made of clear plastic. I fear if it gets too heavy, the handle will break upon travel.All in all, It makes a wonderful organizer, but I believe there are better out there. If you’re on a tight budget, and in need of organizing your tubes, this might be just the product for you, otherwise, I think there are better products out there.

as a recent obssessive beader I was looking for something to store all my newly acquired beads in… this is perfect… I can see them all at a glance and it is easily portable when travelling with my beads… which I do… comes highly recommended…. thank you

Iâm not going to take pics , the elastics are 100% too tight , so tight they crush and pop the caps free , even deep top caps , and that was with just 1 tube in , multiple tubes if you just want to stick them in empty to see what itâs like to see how disappointing the product truly is ⦠you canât lol ð itâs pretty sad ,Description doesnât say wether or not it comes with tubes , or does not , obviously itâs not going to come with depicted beads , but I truly thought it would be coming with the tubes , I was wrong , so had to buy the sized tubes mentioned , to discover they donât fit â¦. Whoâs building this anyway , the â linesâ donât even line up , when expanded and Velcro used as depicted to make the tower , itâs has so much slack in the bend zones , it just collapses ⦠Iâm not much to complainer , but you need to know this product is a waste of time, and unless they fix the actual product to match its concept , DONT BUY THIS
